Lynvado technical guide

How to Download a Video From a URL

A complete video URL identifies one public media page. Lynvado checks that URL, reads its available formats, and prepares only the option you select.

1. Copy the complete public video link

Open the individual video page and use the platform’s Share or Copy link action. A profile, feed, channel, search result, or playlist URL usually does not identify one video.

  • Use an HTTPS link.
  • Remove nothing required to identify the post.
  • Do not submit private, login-only, paid, or DRM-protected media.

2. Paste the URL into Lynvado

Lynvado removes common tracking parameters, checks the hostname against an approved adapter, resolves the destination safely, and asks the source for public media metadata.

3. Compare the available formats

Resolution, container, codec, audio, and approximate size can differ. A source may offer 1080p video separately from audio; an option marked Video + Audio tells the worker to combine compatible streams.

4. Prepare and save the file

Preparation happens only after you choose a format. Download the result before its temporary retention window ends. If it expires, analyze the original public link again.
