Formats and quality

Reddit-hosted video often keeps video and audio in separate streams. Lynvado can combine compatible streams when the selected normalized format requires it.

Some Reddit posts embed media hosted elsewhere. Those posts may not expose a Reddit video stream; use the original media URL only if that source is also supported.

Private, quarantined, age/login-gated, deleted, and moderator-restricted posts are unsupported.
Image galleries and external embeds may not contain Reddit-hosted video.
A subreddit or profile URL is not a single downloadable media item.

Why did my Reddit download have no audio?

Some tools save only Reddit’s video stream. Choose a Lynvado option marked Video + Audio so the worker can combine the separate streams when available.

Why is an embedded video unsupported?

The post may point to a different host. Lynvado only processes explicit adapters and does not follow arbitrary third-party media hosts.

Does a redd.it share link work?

It can work when the redirect resolves safely to a public Reddit post with hosted video.

Why did my prepared download expire?

Lynvado stores completed files temporarily, normally for 60 minutes. The signed storage URL expires sooner; request the download again while the job remains ready or reanalyze the source link.
