How to Download a Video in Chrome

Chrome’s download shelf or download panel tracks the final file after Lynvado finishes preparing it.

Copy, paste, and choose

Open the individual public video page, copy its URL, paste it into Lynvado, and choose one of the source-backed formats. Avoid copying a feed or channel URL.

Open Chrome downloads

After selecting Download file, use Chrome’s download icon or open chrome://downloads. On Android, use the Chrome menu and choose Downloads.

  • Do not send the temporary download URL to another person or device.
  • Keep the original source URL if you may need to prepare the file again.

Fix a blocked download

Allow downloads for Lynvado if Chrome blocks the action, verify free disk space, and retry while the prepared file is still retained. Security software can also quarantine unfamiliar media files.

Fix a file that will not play

The container may be supported while its internal codec is not. Choose an MP4/H.264 option for broad compatibility when available.
