Formats and quality
X typically serves adaptive video renditions. The available resolution set depends on how the video was encoded and what the public post response exposes.
The same post can become unavailable when its author protects the account, deletes the post, changes visibility, or when X requires a signed-in session.
X / Twitter download limitations
- Protected accounts, subscribers-only posts, direct messages, Spaces, and login-only media are unsupported.
- Text-only posts and image-only posts do not contain a downloadable video format.
- Embedded third-party players may need to be downloaded from their original supported source instead.
X / Twitter troubleshooting
Do both x.com and twitter.com links work?
Both domains are in the adapter allowlist. The URL must identify a public post containing supported video media.
Why did a previously working post stop working?
The author may have deleted it, protected the account, changed visibility, or the source may be temporarily requiring authentication.
Why is there no video option?
The post may contain only images, link to an external player, or expose no compatible public media rendition.
Why did my prepared download expire?
Lynvado stores completed files temporarily, normally for 60 minutes. The signed storage URL expires sooner; request the download again while the job remains ready or reanalyze the source link.
